Scorpios, Mykonos

If you talk to anyone about where to go to in Mykonos, they’ll likely recommend this rustic little spot on the Southern tip of the island. Scorpios is a bit of everything – it’s a genuinely beautiful spot that acts as a hub for the bohemian beach culture found in many other places around the world, such as Tulum and Formentera.

The inspiration for the decor is pulled from various sources with Greek, Moroccan and Balinese styles immediately coming to mind. Scorpios oozes understated rustic chic with bars inside and out, a shop on site, a huge bamboo-framed outdoor restaurant and an in-the-round seating area with a huge fire pit as the main focus. In short, it’s really one of the most beautiful venues – straight out of a Pinterest ‘wanderlust’ page.

It’s clear Scorpios is designed as a bit of an antidote to the nightclub scene of Mykonos town, shown in its obviously ‘out of the way’ location at the southern most tip of the island, but the Sunday night sunset parties rival any of the nights in town and is a must if you’re on the island over a weekend.

Scorpios has certainly secured its place as part of the holistic beach culture trend and rightly so – book in here if you’re next on the island for the ultimate in rustic luxury. Find out more about this incredible spot on their website for further information on opening times, menus and events. I, for one, already can’t wait to return.
