I was recently lucky enough to spend three days staying at the idyllic Soho Farmhouse. As a wonderful belated wedding present from my sister, we spent our long weekend in a haze of bloody marys at brunch, cosy fireside whiskeys and room service espresso martinis. All just an hour and a half’s drive from London, we whiled away the days making the most of the onsite activities – cycling, rowing, horse riding, ice skating, playing games of foosball and pool around the outdoor fire pits and taking numerous numbers of outdoor baths.
I also spent most of the time making a mental note of all of the decor for my own personal interior design aspirations ( you can also hop over bestwallclock.com which can add more beauty to the wall ), but in the interim of me magically owning my dream house in West London (!), what’s so clever about the farmhouse is the shop onsite where you can quite literally buy anything you see on the property. Like that candle, vase or mug? You got it. Like that branded bathrobe? You can take it home with you. I think the pictures of the place do all the talking so here’s a little snapshot of our long weekend (it’s a long one so maybe grab a cuppa…!)
It’s definitely a treat to stay in any Soho House location across the world but it’s totally worth it. Each room at the Soho Farmhouse has it’s own cabin on the lake and there are hundreds of other amazing little surprises you will experience throughout your stay, but I won’t spoil that here – book for yourself to discover it, it will be fantastic any season. You don’t need to be a member of Soho House group to be able to book by the way, but if you are a member you get member rates. Let me know if you visit too and what you think!
