Last month I was approached by Corner Magazine for my thoughts on where best to Christmas shop in the local area. Having spent many a run-up to Christmas pottering the streets of Notting Hill and meandering around the little roads off of Portobello, in and out of all of the little boutique shops lining the streets, it was great fun to put my recommendations to pen and paper. It’s also D and I’s turn to host Christmas this year in our little flat, so I’m excited to treat my parents to a true London Christmas!
See here for the link to my article that ran in the online bi-monthly magazine – available for iPhone and iPad users, you can download for free in the App Store really easily. I’ve also linked below to some of my favourite local places picked out in the article, in case you want to spend a Saturday in the area avoiding the chaos of Oxford Street or Westfield! Enjoy browsing some of the amazing stores this little pocket of West London has to offer; I guarantee you’ll find unique gifts for everyone.
(one of my favourite stores in the entire world!)
It’s really starting to feel like Christmas now isn’t it – only just over a month to go! Here’s The Churchill Arms all dolled up to get you in the mood…
What are you up to for Christmas this year?

Great piece. I love hearing about local haunts by locals, thanks!
I’ve walked past the Churchill Arms before but never been in. It looks so lovely! Congrats on the article x
