This Sunday, the sun was shining and Laura and I decided we were in need of some pampering before we sat out in the sun so headed to the relatively new CHEEKY Parlour on Redchurch Street.
Housed on the first floor of the building, you’re met with a gorgeous bright space, heaps of character and lots of gorgeous beauty products. It’s a new spot from the owners of the Soho House group and is in-keeping with their fantastic eye for interior decor – country house meets shabby chic Brooklyn-style loft.
The parlour markets itself as a salon that’s a social and affordable beauty pitstop. Lau and I decided to get our nails done and with the sunshine and some celebrating to do, some pink fizz was also called for…We picked out our nail colours (we both went for a summery neon pink) and waited in the ‘parlour’ until our appointment time, catching up on all our news (and me admiring Lau’s new shoes).
The salon also has hair stations similar to Salon Lofts firm, where you can get everything from just an ‘up do’ or blow-dry or book in for a make-up consultation with one of their experts. Prices are so reasonable at £15! The bar area also does a great range of food, with everything from simple muffins to eggs any style or chicken and avo sandwiches – again all very reasonably priced. Despite being the other side of town to my flat, this is definitely worth the visit and I’ll be back in Cheeky in no time – maybe this time I’ll go for an up do too before a night out…
They also have a really great range of beauty products you can buy, everything from Pimp My Plume Dry Shampoo to Body Oils to Lip and Cheek tints – you can buy the range of products online too here. Great little presents for a friend’s birthday or if you fancy a little treat for yourself.
