A Birthday in Kalkan, Turkey

I was lucky enough to spend my 27th birthday this year in the company of my wonderful family, boyfriend and 28 degree sunshine – waking up to this view…

We spent a week in a small fishing port in Turkey called Kalkan,  a popular place with holidaymakers for it’s abundance of sunshine, stunning vistas and variety of restaurants. Here’s a snapsnot of our week:

We stayed in a fantastic villa called Villa Turquoise, which is located just outside the main town and is a 1 hour and 45 minute transfer from Dalaman airport (flying twice daily via Easyjet and other low cost airlines to London and UK airports and a very cheap price). If you’re looking for a cheap week away in the sunshine, I couldn’t recommend it more.

Have any of you visited Kalkan before? Would love to hear your thoughts!
