Borgo Santo Pietro

Borgo Santo Pietro

In Tuscany, there’s a real little slice of heaven of a hotel called Borgo Santo Pietro. We were lucky enough to stay here for a few nights this September on our minimoon and I just had to share some images of this magical boutique hotel. The service, the attention to detail of the interior design, the food, the wine…everything was impeccable and I cannot recommend highly enough if you’re looking for a place to stay that sums up the real spirit of Italy – somewhere you can utterly relax, forget everything and just enjoy the people you’re with.

Every corner of this place was like a painting and made photographing it all the more fun. Throughout our days at Borgo we made the most of the huge array of activities on offer; we hired one of their Vespas (complete with a pre-packed gourmet healthy picnic from the kitchen to take to a nearby lake), ate too much cheese during the wine tasting course with Fernando the sommelier, laughed our way through a NINE course meal, had far too many glasses of prosecco, ate the best omelettes in Italy for breakfast, watched a film outside under the stars and whiled away hours of the day doing nothing but flit between the sunbed, the jacuzzi and the treehouse bar.

Welcome to Borgo…

You can find all information about booking to stay at the Borgo Santo Pietro online here. I actually booked through my old faithful Mr and Mrs Smith website, who also offer little perks (like a free massage when you book – nice touch). Let me know if you’ve ever stayed here before too, or what your other favourite parts of Italy are! We had the most incredible time in Tuscany and can’t wait to go back and explore it further – if only my living room in London could look like this…!
